We are looking for a partner who loves numbers, order and is not satisfied with the phrase “this is how it has always been done”.
👀 Who are we looking for?
Finance Manager with a strong focus on controlling and processes. We're not just looking for someone to send us a spreadsheet at the end of the month. We are looking for a person who will actively manage cashflow, guard costs and set up processes so that the company treads like clockwork. You will be management's right-hand man and a key liaison for our shareholders.
💼 What will be your daily bread:
💵 Finance & Controlling
- Cashflow Management: You will have the smooth financial operation of the company under your thumb. Daily money flow management and planning await you so we always know where we stand.
- Controlling & Budgeting: Your Kingdom. You will keep an eye on individual departments keeping to budgets, and deal with deviations relentlessly (but fairly).
- Mid-year forecast.
- Reporting: Preparation of monthly management reports for management and our shareholders. It has to be data on which to make decisions.
- Communication with the CNB: Since we hold a license, you will become our liaison for the Czech National Bank. Regular regulatory reporting and supervisory communication await you.
- Financial processes: Setting up and tuning internal processes (approval of invoices, circulation of documents). We are looking for simplicity and efficiency, not bureaucracy.
- Financial Statements: Responsibility for monthly and annual accounts (working with the accounting department/company) so that everything sits on a penny.
- Operation: Preparation of payment orders and supervision of payment transactions.
- Consolidation (Big Plus): If you have experience with consolidation, you will be with us like a fish in water. We have 7 entities — consolidation is simple, but we need to keep it under control
📊 HR Controlling & Strategy (Collaboration with HR Generalist):
- HR Department: You take responsibility for the team and lead the HR department.
- Headcount & Cost Planning: See if the recruitment matches the financial plan. You approve the headcount from a budget perspective -- HR Generalist takes care of recruiting, you “apply” it.
- HR Reporting: Setting metrics and reporting in the field of human resources (labor costs, turnover, efficiency). Provide HR data base for decision making.
- Processes & Strategies: Collaborate on the development of future HR strategy (remuneration, bonus schemes) and setting up processes (e.g. workflow for approval of appointments, promotions or bonuses).
👌 What you should have in your little finger:
- Experience: You have at least 3-5 years in a position in controlling, financial management or auditing (Big4 experience is fine, but not necessary if you have common sense).
- Mindset: You are detail-oriented and cost-controlling. You see the story in numbers and you know how to explain it.
- Excel/Google Sheets: You are at a level where the pivot table does not surprise you and you know how to automate your work.
- Independence: We don't play micromanagement at Investown. You get trust and responsibility.
- Proactivity: Do you see that the process is not working? You propose change and implement it.
- The advantage is the previous experience with the CCUS decree 501 and communication with the regulator.
