How does Investown Marketplace work and why use it?
Investown Marketplace is a secondary market where you can easily sell an investment to other investors or buy it from them. Thus, the seller quickly gets to his money and the buyer has the chance to value the money even in already financed projects often with higher interest from the past.
Sometimes it happens that an investor needs to sell his investment before the project matures — for example due to sudden expenses or because he wants to invest a larger amount in another opportunity on Investown.
We have set up Investown Marketplace for these cases. Investors sell their investments easily, often in a few minutes.
How Investown Marketplace Works
Buying and selling on the Market is simple and you can do it literally in a few clicks.
- The seller selects the project he wants to divest early and offers it on the Investown Marketplace. He chooses if he wants an investment offer all or only part of it.
- You will find this option with every project you have invested in. Find a gray boxer My investments and click on the three dots next to the inscription.
- The project will then appear in the Marketplace section, where you will see it all Investown users.
- The buyer opens the offered project and views information about the basic yield, any bonus yield or the remaining duration of the project (i.e. when it is due).
- If the buyer likes the project, he or she will see the available offers (there are usually offers available from multiple investors in one project at the same time) and then enter the amount he wants to invest — can buy back all or only part of the investment.
- As soon as the buyer confirms the offer, the seller receives a request to accept (approve) the transaction. If he approves it, he's done.
- The project will then appear in the buyer's portfolio, who will receive returns to Investown's wallet each month from the date of purchase of the investment until it matures. After the end of the project, he will receive back the entire invested amount (principal).

Investown Marketplace is a great way to build your portfolio even faster. It has a number of advantages for both buyers and sellers:
- Investment in the Market you sell at any time before its due.
- Thanks to Marketplace, investments are made on Investown highly liquid (You can often sell them within a few minutes).
- Transactions on the Market are at face value. For example, if you sell an investment worth CZK 5,000 and someone offers you CZK 4,000, they will buy back only a portion of that value, and the rest of the investment worth CZK 1,000 will remain with you.
- If you sell an investment, your bid will see tens of thousands of investors on Investown.
- As a buyer, you also get to already funded projects, often with with a high appreciation of over 10% p.a. This sometimes gives you access to a more profitable valuation than currently open projects on the platform.

- You do not have to choose only from newly published projects, but you can also regularly choose from offers on the Market.
Investors in the secondary market often also sell projects with delayed payment of returns, but even these are worth buying. The reason is simple: although each such investment carries a risk, all investments on Investown are secured by real estate and secured by the personal guarantee of the project owner.

Answers to frequently asked questions about the Market
Do you charge a fee for selling and buying at Investown Marketplace?
The early sale fee is 0.9% of the sold investment volume, the purchase is free. However, if you have a project that has been extended due, you can offer it on the Marketplace free of charge.
I qualify for Investown Active membership or higher. Will I receive a bonus return for investing in the Marketplace?
Yes, the bonus income also applies to projects offered on the Market. Valid for projects published after 18.4.2024.
How long does the seller have to accept (approve) the offer from the buyer?
The seller has 24 hours for approval. After this time, the buyer gets the blocked amount back into the Investown wallet.
How long can I have my offer on the marketplace?
The seller's issued offers are valid for 24 hours. If there is no connection with the buyer by this time, the offer will be withdrawn from the Marketplace.
Is there a daily or weekly limit for purchases and sales in the Marketplace?
No, you can sell and buy investments on the Marketplace without any limits.
