Investown on CNN Prima News: How to invest in real estate smartly and simply
Over the past few months, our colleagues had the opportunity to introduce the Investown platform and its benefits to viewers on CNN Prima News. The three interviews covered topics ranging from the affordability of real estate investing to specific strategies to start investing smartly and simply.

Business: A savings account will rob you of millions
At the end of October, Alan Pock was a guest on the show Business. Among other things, he cautioned that saving for retirement using a savings account may not be enough for most people. Through group investing, investors can achieve up to three times the yield compared to traditional savings products.
One of the benefits of crowdfunding is a higher level of investment collateral. The average LTV value, that is, the ratio of the loan amount to the value of the property, is 70-80%. This means that investors are provided with sufficient margin even in the event of any fluctuations in house prices.
An example given during the interview illustrates the difference between investing 5,000 CZK per month in a savings account versus Investown. While a savings account will bring in around 3 million CZK over 30 years, a group investment in real estate can bring in 11-12 million CZK. Pock thus emphasized that for a calm retirement it is key to start investing as soon as possible.

Marek Kříž, CGO, stressed the importance of diversifying the portfolio and choosing a trustworthy platform under the supervision of the Czech National Bank.
