Investown Provides Bank Level Security

Minimizing investor risk is a top priority for us, which is why we provide bank security level. This means that if the creditor stops repaying (which has never happened in the history of our projects so far), we have effective ways to recover the liabilities and get investors back their money. The principle is similar to when a bank recovers money from mortgage-burdened lenders.

There are at least two levels of security at Investown:

1. Liens on real estate — thanks to the lien, if necessary, we can sell the mortgaged properties and return the money to investors. All investors are additionally insured against a fall in the property price because Investown on the project lends a maximum of 80% of its price (up to 80% LTV). Most of the time, however, the LTV for Investown projects is in the range of 50-70%.
2. Personal liability of the executive — if the funds from the sale of the property do not cover all liabilities, we recover the rest of the money from the personal property of the project owner.

We place high and uncompromising demands on investor safety. Still, Investown manages to maintain above-average investment returns. Thus, our investors have the ideal risk-return ratio at their disposal.

And what would happen to investors' money if the project owner stopped defaulting on the loan? In this case, investors will not lose their money — we will refund the amount to their Investown wallet. (More information on loan repayment can be read in General Terms and Conditions on the Website.)

Investown pays revenues fastest in the Czech Republic

Investors don't have to wait weeks or months for their returns. Investown pays them interest on investments fastest of all investment platforms in the Czech Republic, and thanks Immediate interest.

Investors can get the first returns. within 3 days of switching to Payout status, i.e. within a week of receiving the target amount of the project, on average within 2 weeks. (You can read more about the individual states in our FAQ). While on other platforms investors have to wait an average of 30 days for the first returns, on Investown they get them up to 27 days earlier.

The rate of disbursement of proceeds then varies according to the type of project.

Only strictly vetted projects get to Investown

In order to include a real estate project on the Investown platform, must go through a selection process and Strict approval process professionals from the financial, legal and construction sectors. If the applicant does not meet any important criteria, we will not include his project in the Investown investment opportunities offer.

In the approval process, we request from interested parties a profit and loss statement, tax returns, an estimate of the value of the project or the construction budget. Of course, there is a check of the insolvency register or the register of executions.

Although we put the most stringent requirements on applicants and undergo a rigorous approval process, we manage to finance projects super fast, both thanks to the speed of application and the 70,000 investors on Investown.

Investing from 500 CZK

In order to share in the proceeds of real estate investments (or loans secured by real estate) today, one does not need to have millions in an account. At Investown you can Invest from 500 CZK, so investors can start with small amounts and gradually increase their deposits as needed. They can also reinvest the money already raised from the projects and increase their returns.
