Investors came first in 2019 when Four of the founders laid the foundations of Investown.. Back then, it was still a slightly different Investown than as we know it today. Alan Pock, CEO

‍Alan He is the main face of Investown, but also his the heart, the head and the main driver. Five years ago, he and his friends launched the Investown mission. His motivation was to create a product that had not been available in the Czech Republic until then.

A lot of our investors know him personally from investor meetings. They spend the most time in our offices in Karlín, sometimes even on weekends. And why is he doing all this? “I like to overcome challenges, invent and implement new solutions. And in general, I enjoy the success of Investown.“

After work, he likes to go golfing and on weekends with his children to ride horses. And what did he snitch on himself? “Basically, I wear T-shirts with the Investown logo and I only shower at work, there's a bigger shower and free water,“he says with a laugh. Just by the way, Alan has a great sense of humor.

Vít Strnad, CIO

Another of the founders of Investown is Screw Strnad. After his experience in a corporate environment, he wanted to work on a project where he could make a real difference. And he was also attracted by the opportunity to develop an investment vehicle where anyone can invest even with a small amount.

Vitek is fully integrated into all processes in the company. For a long time he launched new projects on the platform. And when he went on holiday last year, everyone was worried if the firm would survive it. It's a bit of hyperbole, but that's how important Vita is here.

His role is CIO. He describes himself as a scrum master for developers, automations of internal processes in the company, every now and then something sideways. For us, Víťa is the greatest heartthrob together with Alan! At Investown, he enjoys the people, their interconnectedness and the overall culture. We love how Vítek takes care of us.

Although he lives mainly by work, he also finds time for fishing, squash, gaming and his two children.

Sarka, Team Leader Back Office

Sarka She has been involved with Investown since the very beginning. She started as a copywriter, then took care of customer care and nodded at bridging the legal and fintech worlds in acquiring CNB license. Now it's her working home The Back Office. “I always find a way to help. I enjoy the possibility of development. I like to find new paths, approaches and loopholes where no one can see the way.” adds.

After work, she likes to spend time in the garden, with her daughter and on the road. Since it is far from the offices, we rarely see it in person. And it says it doesn't even have a card for offices, but it's the only custom cookie cutter with the Investown logo. We'd better check it out with HR.

David, Team Leader Family

David is in charge of the original participatory business model. He has been with us for 1,124 days and his daily concern and joy is to close The Investown Family. He is dragged to the offices by colleagues, but also good coffee. When asked what was really wrong with him, he replied that it took him a long time to get acquainted with the company printer, especially logging out. We confirm that.

He likes to travel, has one daughter and considers himself a little bit of himself as his second child. Although he has a large coffee machine at home, he drinks coffee fundamentally at work. Actually, only because he forgets to buy coffee at home.

Petr, Appraiser and Real Estate Valuation Supervisor

Peter has been at Investown for a year and a half now. His task is supervision and estimation of real estate valuation. Thanks to him, we can always calculate correctly LTV and we know if the project makes sense. By itself, he says, in short, he separates the grains from the chaff.

Investown, in his words, chose because he has to do something. (Peter?!) Outside of work, he lives with his family and his dog, but he does not lead him to the office. He said he wouldn't fit in here, which we don't believe, except Alan.

Radek, Frontend Developer

Radek makes sure that you can see in the app what you have to see there at the right moment. IN Investown it's been 3 years. He chose it for a specific startup atmosphere, which, in his words, resembles a torpedo. And he also values the cool people on the team. Most of all, he enjoys challenges and team building, which we organize quite regularly.

Outside of work, he is involved in family, sports and, of course, programming. But he himself says he is best rested in his Brno office.

Martin, Backend Developer

Tausha is our Backend Developer for over a year now. He was attracted by the idea of developing a product that he personally had been using for several years. At Investown, he likes the product most, and also a bunch of people who care about it.

Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, playing badminton, loving good food and tending to his lemon tree. And what did he snitch on himself? “I'd love to hold my mouth sometimes, but I just can't. My head would burst. “

Martin, Backend Developer

To the party of ours Developer Backend It also belongs to Marta. He is a cheerful kick and is never boring with him. He has been at Investown for too long, and most of all he enjoys polarizing the opinions of people around him, that is, ragebait. Even so, we think of Márty as the unicorn of our internal systems.

And when he's not exactly crawling into code, he's crawling on the shitter -- we'll explain -- his vice is bouldering. And he often jumps into talk to Taurus, too. Yeah and he likes cats!

Martina, QA Manual Tester

Mars is working on a position QA Manual Tester for more than half a year. Exactly 6 months 23 days and 11 minutes (at the time of filling out the internal questionnaire). Its job is to test that we have no fault anywhere. Ideally, it should reveal it before our users do. And she's damn good at it!

She likes her job, the people she works with and also canyoning, stories (books/movies), dancing and whatever comes under her hand/leg. Yeah, and he brings us cakes regularly. Thank you!

Lucie, Junior Financial Controller

Lucce liked the product that Investown has and been lured by a startup environment where she can learn a lot. And so a year and 3 months ago she took up the position Financial Controller. Jiri, Key Account Manager

Jirka joined Investown 10 months ago as Sales Support, but soon moved up to the role Key Account Manager. He considers his greatest success the fact that he can book a meeting room. His job is everything from photo solving, graphics, texting and administration to projects, signing contracts, to credit management and client well-being. “I'm such a multitasking swiss knife with a calendar. “

Iva Janoušková, CMO

Our Iva came to I'll invest in January 2025 to manage marketing, Investown chose her, but in the end it was a mutual love. “I like Alan's energy, sometimes. I enjoy the daily confusion that no day is the same, plus it's fun. And for that, we have a super product in the back,” he adds in one breath. She enjoys the most at Investown people. Outside of work, he lives by sports, mostly on the water. He loves wakeboarding and spending time with friends. Ideally with a glass of prosecco in hand. She doesn't have her own dog, but she likes to babysit her friends and take them with her to the office. And her biggest misstep? “I get carried away at work that something needs to be done right away. Most of the time it would be enough to take a breath and wait a while. Nothing is eaten as hot as steaming.“

Maria, CRM Specialist

Majka is a fresh newcomer to Investown. She is one hand in hand with Gabina, our Bloomreach specialist and together they farm our CRM. Most of all, she enjoys people, coffee and dogs.

In addition to work, she loves her own dog, Kevin the Golden Retriever, is a purebred potterhead and her guilty pleasure is doomscrolling and finding properties she will never buy.

Jana, Content Manager

Janča says about himself that he hates talking on the phone, which is why he writes. She joined Investown this April, hoping the whole thing wasn't just a joke. But everything went smoothly and so he's in charge of all the content — from push notifications in the app, to texts to projects, to blog articles.
