We have a CNB license! Investown was the first in the Czech Republic to receive it.
Crowdfunding platforms in the Czech Republic can operate from 10 November 2023 only with a special license from the Czech National Bank (CNB). Investown confirmed that it met the required regulatory standards and received the license from the CNB as the first in the credit crowdfunding industry.
The journey to obtain an important permit took a combined year, but the effort paid off. Investown successfully passed strict screening by the Czech National Bank (CNB), during the process we had to document, for example, all information about the management of the company, the approval of projects or the setting up of internal processes.

The same conditions must be met by other crowdfunding companies if they want to continue publishing projects operating on the principle of group investment after November 10. Investown was the first to do it. and thus has an open door to further growth, even beyond the borders of the Czech Republic.
Under the term crowdfunding This is called “crowdfunding”. If a company or individual needs money to launch a new project, they will post their project on an online platform and try to raise funds from dozens, hundreds or even thousands of investors from among the general public. Investing on Investown works on the same principle, where 80 thousand investors have already valued their money in loans secured by real estate.
Thanks to the license, Investown can operate throughout the EU
Obtaining a license is an important milestone for us not only from the point of view of operating in the Czech Republic, but also beyond its borders. This authorisation potentially allows crowdfunding services to be provided throughout the European Union.
Investown investors will be presented with an endless range of opportunities across Europethat will help them ensure a dignified old age.
We are already working hard to expand into Slovakia, and in the future we would also like to offer investment projects to investors in Austria.
Investing is as easy as it has been
The license is a great success for us and a promise for the future, but this does not mean that anything will change for existing or investors. On the contrary, Investing on Investown will continue to be as easy, fast and from 500 CZK.
Also in the coming weeks and months, investors from all over the Czech Republic will be able to evaluate their finances in projects (loans secured by real estate), which we choose carefully and which must meet strict criteria.
