Investown in 2022 — annual review
2022 has been rocketing for Investown. Investown already has over 60,000 investors and more than CZK 750 million has been invested. We have prepared for you an overview of several Investown milestones for 2022. Check them out with us.
Investown already has 60,000 investors
A total of 31,380 new users were added in 2022, more than doubling the total number, and in December the number of 60,000 investors registered on Investown.
In total, our investors have invested more than CZK 750,000,000 with Investown. Of which 484,989,741 CZK in 2022 alone. Thanks to this amount, a lot of high-quality and meaningful projects are created.
In total, we have already paid out over CZK 21,000,000 in profits (CZK 19,227,888 in 2022).
Investown put on the map of Europe
Not only thanks to the numbers from the previous paragraphs, Investown became known outside the Czech Republic and in the European charts. As one of the most successful Czech fintech startups, we have won several leading positions:
- 10th place in prestigious business competition Idea of the Year
- 26th place in the selection of the 100 most promising startups in Central Europe by Dealroom Signal
- Top fintech startup award in the European Finance Investment Summit category Disrupt Awards
- we were among Top 7 Czech Startupswho were given the opportunity to go on a two-week bootcamp to Silicon Valley in San Francisco
We have seen more on social networks this year, thanks to cooperation with finance experts and influencers Vojta Žižka and Ondřej Koběrský or through partnership with one of the most listened podcasts in the Czech Republic — U Kulatý.
Investown team has grown to include more experts
In order to continue the implementation of Investown's mission — to be the best investment platform in the Czech Republic and in Europe — we need not only smart software, but also a team of experts. This year, we have expanded the Investown team to include 30 new professionals working in development, business, marketing, product, risk management and other fields.
We launched a new website
We also launched a new version of the site. (Have you seen her yet?) We are working daily to improve the mobile and web investment application and have added a new page for you on the site For investorswhere you can find new articles about investing and the Czech and global economy or what's new in the Investown app.
Several new features added to Investown
In 2022, we have improved and enriched the app with several new features for you. For example:
- Notification Center
- new overview on the main screen
- better detail of the project
- Face ID and Touch ID
- easier and faster login
- premium membership
- and others
As we wrote at the beginning of the article — 2022 was rocket-fast and full of successes at Investown. The growth rate continues to increase and there is a lot of news that we have in store for you in 2023.
